3. If you don’t know the product name or company name, you can search by category
4. Lastly, you can limit your search by location

The most important idea to keep in mind is that you will only receive responses for the lower mainland of BC.

What is SIC code and why is it important?

SIC stands for Standard Industrial Classification.  It is the system used by the government to classify businesses.  We use it to find products and services by general category.  This is an excellent way to find products and services when you don’t know the name or manufacturer of the product or service you are looking for but you do have a good idea which type of business will carry that product or service.
